Y'knw, today's world is so materialistic. We judge a person by the size of their houses & the cost of their things. Mechanically springs to mind straight away. I should lift my mind above the ground where we seem to be slowly eating, drinking, & smoking ourselves to death.
Goodness. What, are you, really? Feels like I've known you since forever, but the next, you're like a pretty face in disguise. I don't know you anymore. I don't know you anymore. I don't know you anymore. & Now you're almost halfway through the door. Just come back or not for all I care. Fuck please do 'cuse I miss you. Everybody's changing & I don't feel the same. This world is so.. Manmade. I couldn't agree more.

I reach for the feelings I so fondly remembered. These were not the feelings I once knew. Like coils they wound around me in the pessimism, the anger. My eyes are left open to observe the revolting features that were mine. Love of mine. Someday you will die. It clings on to my memory, digging its claws into my head. As the wind carried you away, I thought I heard a faint whisper of doubt. Covered in nothing but lies & ashes. I know you were still in there somewhere. But where? You still dug deep in my mind, occupying every blank space. Yet I still have to live on, putting on there facades, time after time.
But I can't lie to myself anymore.
